The Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences (FEAS) was founded as a part of Gazi University and with the name of the Gazi University Çorum Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences in 1997.

The Department started education in 1998-1999 academic year with 70 students admitted to the Department of Business Administration of Gazi University and gave its first graduates at the end of 2001-2002 academic year. It was attached to Hitit University, which was established in 2006.

The Department of Banking and Finance
Department  of Banking and Finance established in 2012 within the scope of Hitit University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. In the Banking and Finance section: it is aimed to provide theoretical training in courses such as mathematics, statistics, basic law, money-bank-credit, financing, computerized financial analysis, investment, project valuation, international finance, risk management, financial instruments and institutions.

Our students continue their education in all 4 classes in our department. In addition to undergraduate degree, our department also offers graduate opportunities. There are two graduate programs including two master programs (Banking & Finance and Islamic Banking) and a PhD program (Banking & Finance)

The Department of Business Administration
The Department of Business Administration was established in 1997-1998 academic year to meet human capital required by private and public sector. The Business Administration Department encompasses four major areas of specialization: Management and Organization, Accounting and Finance, Production Management and Marketing, and Quantitative Methods.

The undergraduate program includes a 4-year academic year. Methods of instruction and curriculum are designed to equip students with the ability and knowledge to make plan, manage, and audit. Our Department is designed to enable students to compete in national and international markets, to take decisions and then to apply them. The purpose of the undergraduate program at the Department of Business Administration is to instill in its students the necessary infrastructure to function effectively at middle and senior management levels in the public and private sectors. Methods of instruction have been designed to enable students to develop a critical and solution-oriented outlook regarding the business world.

The Department of Economics
The main purpose of this program is to give students a broad perspective on their approach to real-life economic events and problems and to gain the ability to apply up-to-date analytical tools to solve these problems. For this purpose, our department's undergraduate program is based on basic fields such as Economic Theory, Applied Economics, Economic History, Economic Policy, International Economics and Economic Development.

The courses in the undergraduate program are held in Turkish. In the Department of Economics, courses in the first year are performed associated with other departments including Business Administration and Political Science. By the 2nd year, students can choose courses in accordance with their interests and go to specialization. The variety of elective courses enables students to prepare themselves effectively and consciously both in business life and academic life by improving their knowledge and skills in the areas of interests.

The Economics Department encompasses four major areas of specialization: Economic Theory, Economic Policy, Economic Development and International Economy, and History of Economics. In addition to undergraduate degree, our department also offers a graduate program. Economics Graduate Program aims to increase the knowledge of students to the level of expertise in the field of economics and to develop their capacity for conducting economic analysis and scientific research with the help of theoretical and practical knowledge.

In the light of contemporary theoretical and empirical developments, the Economics Graduate Program is designed to enable students to analyze current economic problems and their economic policies and their possible effects.

The Department of Political Science and Public Administration
Department of Political Science and Public Administration offers two undergraduate programs: Turkish Program (1) and English Program (2). The Department of Political Science and Public Administration (Turkish program) at Hitit University has a long and pioneering tradition in the studies of politics and administration in Turkey since 2006.

Founded in 2018, Department of Politics (100% English program) offers programs for the undergraduate degree. It accepts students since 2018-2019 Fall Semester. In keeping with university’s tradition of welcoming international students, the Department of Politics encourages foreign students for applications.

The department has a rich curriculum, which comprises courses, which help specialize in the sub-fields of Political and Social Sciences, Administrative Sciences, Legal Sciences and Urban and Environmental Sciences as well as those provided by a variety of disciplines (economics, business management, labor economics, international relations, sociology, philosophy and history among others).

The courses and educational methods present in the program aim to equip students with an analytical and inquisitive perspective in addition to providing them with the basic information, which pertains to the field.

The Department of Public Finance
The Department of Public Finance was established in 2006 in order to meet the needs of people trained in financial matters of both the public and private sectors. In our department, financial and economic events related to the public and private sector are analyzed together with the knowledge of economics and law.

The department has a rich curriculum, which offers courses, which help specialize in the sub-fields of Theory of Public Finance, Public Law, and Budget & Financial Planning as well as those provided by a variety of disciplines (political science, economics, business management, and labor economics).

In addition, the undergraduate degree, our department also offers a graduate program. Public Finance Graduate Program aims to increase the knowledge of students to the level of expertise in the field of finance and to develop their capacity for conducting financial and political analysis and scientific research with the help of theoretical and practical knowledge.

The Department of International Relations
Department of International Relations at Hitit University includes two programs, which are International Relations (undergraduate) in English and International Relations and Security Studies (graduate) in Turkish. Undergraduate program will start to teach in English in 2020-2021 semester. It will begin to accept student in 2020. Undergraduate program is composed of three main departments including International Politics, Political History and International Law.

Graduate program of International Relations and Security Studies has started student admissions in 2019-2020 academic year. It is an interdisciplinary program includes distinguished professors and scholars from several fields such as political science, history, law, sociology, migration studies and international relations. There are already 20 students (one of them is a foreign student) enrolled to the program.

Graduates of the Department of International Relations have the opportunity to choose in a wide range of fields of study. Based on their knowledge, skills and competence acquired as a result of their education, they can find employment opportunities in the public or private sector, at home and abroad. Some of the places where our graduates can work with various titles and job descriptions can be specified as follows: Public Institutions, Research Centers, International Organizations, International Companies and international/local NGO’s.

The Department of Labor Economics and Industrial Relations
The Department of Labor Economics and Industrial Relations, which is part of Hitit University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, was approved by the Higher Education Institution in 2016 and has started education in the 2018-2019 academic year.

Faculty members of the department comprise academics with a variety of specializations and interests on labor economics, human resources and industrial law. The teaching staff currently consists of three assistant professors

The Department of International Trade and Logistic Management
The Department of International Trade and Logistics Management was opened in 2014. Faculty members of the department comprise academics with a variety of specializations and interests on international trade, economic policies and marketing.

The International Trade and Logistics curriculum offers courses that provide valuable information in every stage of professional life. The courses are; Introduction to International Trade, Introduction to Logistics Conduct, International Marketing, International Transportation, supply chain management, banking and foreign exchange operations in international trade software training, customs operations, international finance, storage management and industry project logistics. In addition, the department offers technical English courses every term and the option to learn a second foreign language (Spanish, Russian, or German).
